Accessibility Service and Keyboard Extension

Android Accessibility Service

On Android, Twik requires Accessibility Service permission to function. This permission is used solely to:

Text detection happens locally on your device. Text is never automatically sent to our servers — it is only processed when you explicitly tap the correction button after typing "#". You can revoke this permission at any time in Android Settings → Accessibility, though doing so will disable the App's core functionality.

iOS Keyboard Extension

On iOS, the Twik keyboard extension requires "Full Access" permission to:

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at twikappai@gmail.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith within 30 days.

Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if they qualify. The seat of arbitration shall be India and proceedings shall be conducted in English.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only, and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action.

You may not assign or transfer these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, internet or telecommunications failures, government actions, third-party service outages, or public health emergencies.
